Edward Snowden defends alleged NSA leaker Reality Winner

In a new statement, whistleblower Edward Snowden defended the 25-year-old contractor who allegedly leaked a highly classified document about Russian attempts to hack 2016 election officials. Snowden said Reality Winner's arrest amounted to a "fundamental threat to the free press."
